• On the 17th October we will be launching the brand new Parish Online User Association (POUA). This marks a significant step forward in our commitment to the product and our customers, ensuring that Parish Online continues to meet the increasingly demanding needs of Town, Parish, and Community Councils across the UK.

The main aim of the User Association is to promote effective use of Parish Online in Local Councils and cluster working through District and County wide group subscriptions. It also is in place to provide our customers a voice and input into the future development of the product and surrounding services that we offer.

The Inaugural meeting is taking place at Reading Town Hall on the 17th October where the main structure and role of the User Association will be put in place and we’ll be presenting to some of our key users to get their feedback on the current product and our development plans for the next 6-12 months.

There will also be presentations from Bath & North East Somerset Council and West Sussex County Council who are 2 of our key group subscription customers. This will provide an opportunity for County and District GIS managers, community teams and regional association of local council representatives to see how Parish Online has been integrated into their business, and the resulting cost savings and benefits they have found.

Once the User Association has been established it is our intention to hold regional events giving our valued customers an opportunity to find out more about Parish Online and to provide input on how it can be improved and it’s use expanded throughout the UK.

We’ll keep you up-to-date with all the latest news and developments from the User Association in the news section of our website, in the Parish Online Live video blog and through our newsletters.

If you would like to be part of the User Association in the future or have any comments or suggestions that we can take to the launch meeting please let us know by sending an email to product manager Carl Greenman at This email address is being protected from spambots.
