Using the Editor: Part 3 - Removing an object from a layer

 Remove an existing object from a layer



Step 1: Open the editor -To delete an existing object, first ensure that the editor tool is open and that the object to remove is visible on the map.

Step 2: Select the object to delete - Next, on the map click on the object to remove. A list of objects found at that location will then be shown in a list in the editor window. Hover over each item in the list (the object will be highlighted on the map) and select the correct object.

Step 3: Delete the object - Once the correct object has been selected, the attribute information will appear in the editor tool window. Click on the red ‘Delete’ button and then confirm by pressing ‘Delete’ on the confirmation window that pops up.
